Endometriosis: support beyond the operating room

In endometriosis, tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside it. It can cause severe period pain, pain during sex, heavy bleeding, fatigue, bowel or bladder symptoms and difficulty getting pregnant. Surgery can be necessary, but it is rarely the whole answer.

Does this sound familiar?

  • “I’ve had surgery, and the pain came back.”

  • “My period pain is so strong that I lose days every month.”

  • “I’m exhausted all the time, and my gut is always irritated.”

  • “Nobody has ever looked at my hormones or my metabolism.”

How we approach it

We work alongside your gynaecologist or endometriosis centre. We look at your hormones, inflammation, metabolism and gut health, and add supportive measures such as micronutrients and nutrition. If you would like a different approach to the treatment you have been offered, we take the time to explain your options.
